What did God create on Day 4?

Let's read Genesis 1:14-19

14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and
let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of
the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light
to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the
firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to
divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning
were the fourth day.

God created the stars in the sky. Not only does He know how many
stars there are, but He knows each star's name! (Psalm 147:4)

What is the purpose of stars?  Read the 4 reasons in verse 14.

Then God created the Sun and Moon.

Evolutionists think for evolution to work you need millions of years
to allow random chance to create "stars and planets" from
"nothing."  If each day in Creation was a million years...note that it
was not until Day 4 that the Sun was created.  If God created the
grass, plants, and trees on Day 3...they certainly can't wait a million
years for that sunshine!

The sun reminds us every day that we have an Awesome Creator.
Think about it...somehow the earth rotates around the sun
spreading the sunshine!  It is also at the perfect angle. Not too big
and not too small...not too close (we'd burn up) and not too far
(we'd freeze).

The moon is on the opposite side of the sun and gives us some
light reflection at night . The moon phases tell us what time of the
month it is.  Even the moon's gravity makes the ocean waves which
keeps our oceans fresh!

(Note that evolutionists say the Sun was created before the Earth...
but the Bible says God created Earth before the Sun.)

Sun Prints

You can use the sun to make awesome pictures using the sunlight.

Sun print paper (found on Amazon and science stores)
Silly shaped objects

Place any object (a fern, leaf, key etc.) on the SunArt paper and
set it in the sun briefly. Then rinse the paper in water and watch as
a long-lasting image appears. SunArt paper detects the presence
of ultraviolet light, which is something we cannot see.

Remember Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me. John 14:6
