Let's read Genesis 1:1-5

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and
darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and
God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So
the evening and the morning were the first day.

Notice that the Lord created the heavens and the earth first...but
read how the earth is described before its fixed up nice to live on.
"Without form!"

Next up was the creation of light...the electromagnetic spectrum
and energy.  Finally the Lord divided the light from darkness.

Question: How do we know that the Days of Creation are 24 hour
days and not millions of years each?

What did the Lord write happened at the end of the day...
a) Millions of years passed b) Evening and Morning

Yep - God said there was evening and morning...those details were
added to show it was a regular 24 hour day.

By the way, when God creates the New earth (for those that
choose him)...it will be made INSTANTLY!  I hope to see you there!

Make a Flash Light!

Want to make your own flash light??  Here's an awesome way to
make it from Energizer's website!

Materials You Will Need:
2 Energizer® MAX® D cell batteries (separate batteries—you won't
use your Power Pack for this experiment)
(2) 5" pieces of number 22 insulated copper bell wire with
approximately 1" of insulation stripped off all ends
Cardboard tube (toilet tissue or paper towel) cut to 4" in length
PR6, or number 222, 3-volt flashlight bulb
2 brass fasteners (brads)
1" x 3" cardboard strip
Paper clip
Bathroom-size paper cup

Steps to Make a Flashlight
Push brass fasteners through tube. Attach a paper clip. This clip
will act as on/off switch.
Inside the tube, attach a wire to each fastener. Tape batteries
together and insert into tube, (+) to (-).
Tape one end of wire securely to bottom of one battery's negative
(-) terminal.
Pass other wire end through a hole (large enough to insert bulb) in
center of cardboard strip. Then twist wire around bulb and insert
the bulb into cardboard strip. This strip, when taped to tube, will
position bulb for contact to positive (+) terminal.
Use a paper cup as a reflector by inserting bulb through a hole
punched in bottom of cup. Secure with tape.

Remember Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through Me. John 14:6

Read Carefully!
All experiments use safe, low-voltage battery power. Household electrical current contains high voltage
that could cause serious injury. DO NOT use household electrical current for any of these experiments.
ALL experiments should be conducted under adult supervision.

Carefully follow wiring instructions for each experiment. Improper wiring can result in battery leakage
and/or rupture.
DO NOT take a battery apart. Contact with internal battery material can cause injury.
DO NOT dispose in fire, recharge, put in backwards, or mix with used or other battery types. This may
cause batteries to explode, leak and cause personal injury.
