Coin Through Balloon

What if you could push a coin through a non-inflated balloon?

Supplies: Quarter and a Rubber Balloon. (clear balloons work best)

What happens: Drop the quarter inside the balloon.  Using your hands (and this takes
practice) push the quarter hard into the side of the balloon. (Check out the video above).
Now set the balloon on your hand with the quarter showing and bet someone you can push
it through the side of the balloon.  When you blow up the balloon the coin falls in!

Explanation: Rubber retains its original shape...even when you hit it, stretch it, or bend it.
The thin layer of latex holds the coin in place, and pops back to its original shape after the
coin drops in.

Object Lesson: Bad habits are addicting...overeating, watching trashy tv shows, bad words,
and even bad company are hard habits to get rid of.  Like a balloon's elasticity...bad habits
keep snapping back into place.  It's impossible for someone who doesn't know the Lord to
give up addicting habits...but once you decide to allow Jesus to take your punishment for all
the bad things you've done, God promises to give you a new heart with new desires.

That means you can finally give up the garbage that's bringing you down.  Would you think
about your future today?  No man knows when he will have to stand before his Maker...but
everyone will.  I hope you will choose Him today - He'll keep you out of hell and build you a
eternal mansion in heaven.

Memorize: John 14:2
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I
go to prepare a place for you.
