Broken Clock (Plus Falling Water balloon experiment)
Object Lesson: Life really begins after choosing Jesus

Objection Lesson for a clock: Cool Clock eh? The only problem is it isn't says the same time
forever...the clock is like folks that don't know Jesus. Stuck in the same condition forever - without a
heavenly home - destined to live without their Maker eternally. Without Jesus people are not really living...
sure they may be physically alive but they don't have real life.

Jesus says that He came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Jesus also
told us what eternal life is: That you may know the "only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."
(John 17:3)

It doesn't take much to make this clock run...just a battery! What does it take to find real life? Eternal Life?
It's believing that Jesus Christ died for you sins, took your punishment, and choosing Him alone. He is your
battery that will keep your clock running forever. An expert clock maker designed this clock...and an expert
Creator designed you! Will you choose Him now?    Time is ticking don't delay!

Falling Water balloons

Supplies: Pencil, water balloons, strings, scissors, and hardware nuts (or keys).

Setup: Cut a two foot piece of strings and tie one end to the water balloon and the other to a hardware nut
or a couple keys.

What happens: Run outside with your water balloons and grab a pencil.  Hold your pencil horizontally.
Carefully pick up the end that is attached to hardware nuts and place it over the pencil.  (see pic)  Pull the
nut downward so that the water balloon becomes close to the pencil.  When the water balloon nears the
top suddenly let go of the nut...amazingly the nut will prevent the water balloon from falling at the last

Object Lesson: The Lord had chosen a day when He will judge the world.  God's wrath was already poured
out on Jesus and He will accept your punishment...if you will let Him.

Memorize: Acts 17:30 - 31  "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men
everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness
by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
