What happens: First take a balloon and lay it on one nail...Uh Oh...POP!!!  Next lay a
balloon on several nails.  The balloon will not pop unless you push extra hard.  Why?

Explanation: Surface area is spread out across all the nails...the same things happens
when a carnival performer lays on a bed of nails.

Object lesson:  One nail by itself will puncture a balloon...but the more nails you have the
less it effects the balloon.  These nails are like sins...we've gotten so used to breaking
God's Law we don't even notice we constantly break His Law (the 10 commandments).

Yet even one sin will keep us from getting to heaven.  Revelation 21:8 says all liars will
have their part in the lake that burns with fire.  If you've broken God's Law you must find
away to be released from God's wrath on Judgement Day.  Jesus says in John 14:6 that
there is only one way to heaven.  Will you find the one way before it's too late?  I hope you

Memorize John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me.
