The Moebius Strip

Ever seen a magician perform the magic linking rings - here is how a scientist does it!

Supplies: Paper, scissors, and tape.

What happens: Make several strips of paper.  Tape the ends together on the first ring.  For
the second ring twist the strip a half turn.  For the third ring twist the strip a full turn.  Now
cut down the center of each ring.

Explanation: This twisted experiment teaches you how to extend the edge of the paper.
The same concept is used to extend the life of a fan belt...it really gives it a longer edge
causing it to wear out more evenly. (or last longer)
