Make a huge rubber band ball

Supplies: Lots of rubber bands. You can buy bags of different colors
and sizes too.

What happens: Start with a wad of rubber bands or you can roll a small
ball of tape.  Overlap the bands until you have a HUGE BALL!

It even bounces!

Objection Lesson:  God’s promises vs. patience.
Whoa huge rubber band ball!  Grab a rubber band and stretch it as far
as you can without breaking it.  Remember that Jesus said He is coming
back someday, but 2 Peter 3 says that in the last days Scoffers will say
“Where is the promise of His coming?!”  You see Jesus promised He
would return soon and God has picked a day in which He will judge the
world.

Is God really returning though…it’s been 2000 years?  Well the Bible
says “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count
slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should
perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Pet 3:9

That means that God is patiently waiting that many more will choose to
let Jesus Christ take the punishment for their sins…but how many time
can you stretch a rubber band before it breaks?

Eventually the rubber band will break and in the same way (very soon)
the Lord will return to earth.  Don’t delay – repent and choose Christ.
John 14:6 says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to
the Father except through Me.”
